Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled reservation time to complete the necessary paperwork. 

Age Restrictions

• If the driver is born on or after September 1, 1993, they must complete a Boater Education Course to operate any of our motorized watercraft.
• All customers must be 21 years of age or older to rent any watercraft.
• All drivers are required to be 21 years of age or older.
• Refunds will not be given for rentals canceled due to a lack of a boater safety certificate or failure to meet the other age requirements, regardless of whether they are requested within the cancellation period.

Insurance Policy

• We partner with vQuip, a third-party provider, to provide our customers with insurance for their rental. After completing the booking, customers will be directed to vQuip's portal to fill out any additional information and view their policy.
  • The insurance premium (ranging from $50 to $68, depending on rental type) will be collected through our booking platform.

Cancellation Policy

• At least 24-hour notice: full refund of the rental amount, less insurance premiums. 
• Same-day notice: $100 held out of refund ($25 for kayaks). 
• No-Call/No-Show: no refund.

Taxes and Fees

• Refueling Fee: cost of fuel used during rental (motorized rentals only). 
• Concession Fee: 6% of rental subtotal. 
• Booking Fee: 6% of overall subtotal. 
• Sales Tax: 6.25% of rental subtotal. 
• Insurance Premium: based on rental unit (see above).

General Policies

• A rental craft can never exceed either the stated maximum capacity or the maximum number of people displayed on the load and capacity plate on the craft. For safety purposes, we reserve the right to further limit the number of people on a craft beyond the stated maximum capacity. 
• Due to weather conditions, prior rentals, and other wear-and-tear, radios are not guaranteed on all boats. If you want music, we suggest bringing a portable speaker for your rental.
• Children 13 years of age and younger must always wear a life jacket throughout the rental. Adults must wear a life jacket while in the water. Adult life jackets will be on each boat, and kids will be fitted on the dock before departure.
• No grills, fires, or glass bottles are allowed on the craft. 
• At no point during the rental should the craft be beached or docked, except at Lone Star Lodge & Marina's dock.
